ATtiny85

The ATTiny85 microcontroller

The ATTiny85 microcontroller is a 8 bit computer on a (rather small) chip.

2032 coin cell

A 2032 coin cell battery.

This should last you a good long time, but you can get replacements at any Walgreen's, Radio Shack, etc.

10nF Capacitor (1206 MLCC)

A relatively low-capacity capacitor.

This is used to help filter noise on the power bus.

10uF Capacitor (1206 MLCC)

The other capacitor in the baggie.

This is used to help smooth out power flow as well.

A strip of 4 LEDs (1206)

LED is short for Light Emitting Diode. Like other diodes, they only allow electricity to flow through in one direction. Unlike other diodes, they light up when doing so.

These are the operative blinkylights in this kit.

56Ω resistors (1206)

A strip of 4 56Ω resistors.

These limit the current passed through the LEDs.

This is a standard lapel pin.

Puncture wounds and holding the badge on at the end.
